Jun & Xin screening at the DGA

This is a little after the fact, but the short film Jun & Xin screens at the DGA (Directors Guild of America) tonight (well, last night). I play the title role of Jun, a displaced young man searching for identity and acceptance from his family and others.

I sport a crew cut in the movie since I shaved my head the beginning of this year as a kind of “deconstruction of self” in search of the true self inside me. (in reality, I was just tired of my long hair, but the look didn’t work for me so I grew my hair back out.)

IT HAS BEGUN.

The summer blockbusters have appeared! X2: X-Men United opened today. The movie looks really good and has been getting good reviews. I must go see it.

But more importantly, MATRIX: RELOADED opens in 2 weeks! There has been so much hype around this movie so it’s been hard not to have high expectations. Hopefully it lives up to all the hype!
