Synopsis:
Shannon and I are brother and sister. Recently I found out that our mother has cancer. Mom told me not to tell Shannon because Shannon and mom are not speaking. Shannon and mom have been fighting over Shannon’s boyfriend for a while and mom now feels that Shannon doesn’t love her anymore since she won’t listen to her. What I don’t realize is that Shannon has found out and is coming over to confront me.

Six months ago my girlfriend and I got into a car wreck after a driver pulled a gun on us. I survived the wreck, but she did not. I was going to propose to her the next day.

The scene will start out with me onstage, half-drunk, talking to a picture of my dead girlfriend in complete sadness and pain telling her that I am about to make everything “right”. I am expecting my friend to come over to get me so we can go maim the guy who pulled the gun on us.
