A lot of people were sick tonight in class. I don’t know if that is what it was, but the whole class seemed a little off. Tom also didn’t have as much patience as he usually does and it was obvious that he was frustrated with the performances tonight. But in the end, one person shined through. Kristina, who drives two hours down from San Diego twice a week and is also sick, delivered a beautiful performance even though she worked with an alternate partner - since her regular scene partner was sick. Her performance was grounded, realistic, emotional, human and beautiful. Tom was very pleased and made her an example of the night as to what level of performance and committment we should be striving for.
