TO BREAK IGNORANT STEREOTYPES
“Ignorant or Racist?”
The current article in Details magazine entitled “Gay or Asian?” has sparked a large fire in the asian community. As well as it should. How more blantantly racist and ignorant can you get? Was this article suppose to be funny? What if someone did a “humorous” article on Whitney McNally (the writer) entitled “Redneck or White Trash?”, “Journalist or Unemployed Hack?”, “Stupid or Ignorant” using her photo? Would she think it was funny? Probably not. So my message to Whitney McNally, her managing editor and Details Magazine is this:
You might be a racist if you think that article you published was funny.
