Hey dave, I was just trying to see what was out there about asian models when I bumped into this site. The reason why? Because I’m a bit unique in my looks myself, basically 6′4″ and 240lbs. So not just having the height for an asian is unusal but the mass makes me a pretty big guy. Never really thought about acting or modeling but everyone tell me there is a reason why you were built this way. Still trying to figure that out.
Anyhow I figured it’s my turn to critique you.(hehe)Seriously, you have that sleek keannu Reeves look to you in your b/w.I bet thats more of your natural every day look.
But you color prints, I think needs to be redone. Trim the hair or clip it back dude, and iron the shirt, and maybe stay with a black outfit.I think it would improve your look than what you have now. Don’t look sloppy in them.
Anyways, hope to see you in the big screens one day.
    Best reguards……PAUL

Hey David! Got your website thru Brent. Since you school at Baron/Brown, do you know my friend, Bill Ranson? He was an actor from Richmond, VA where I recently moved from to LA. He did a short film last year about Bingo Anonymous. And I currently day play at Zentropy Partners……are you familiar with them? B.

I found your site while I was researching other hand models. I couldn’t help but leave you a message. You are a great writer and very funny! I am a professional hand model and I’m also an Asian actress. Please check out my website at http://www.handsupermodel.com. I hope my bio doesn’t offend you!

I’m sure I’ll see you on an audition and if you see me first, I hope you will come over and say “Hello”.

    Hi David
I came upon your site arter doing a Google search on Chinese Jamaican and saw your article on you trying to do a Jamaican accent. Well first let me say I am 100% Chinese and born in Jamaica. I read your bio and can relate to you in many ways. Acting- my daughter did a lot of acting in her teen years. She went to acting school and ended up with a lot of parts for TV and movies that called for an oriental girl. My wife is part Chinese (born in Hong Kong) of scottish father and chinese mother so needless to say she is very beautiful and living in Vancouver (hollywood North) the parts kept her busy in her teen years. She however decided to give up acting and instead like you went into designing web sites.
I retired 12 years ago and decided to do a web site in 2000 on the Chinese Jamaican. I see you have a link to my site from your article on speaking Jamaican. If you do want to learn how to speak Jamaican Patois you will need to go to Jamaica and live there for at least a year (smile) or else forget it. If you don’t you will end up speaking like the actore in “Cool Running”.

PS: I also work part time as an extra in the many movies made here so keep an eye open for me. Just worked on a Jet Lee movie The Rogue coming out this fall
