Juliette Lewis spoke last night. I really respect her work and her talent, but she wasn’t a very good speaker. She was very scattered, uneasy and easily distracted. But, she did come through with some good pieces of advice relating to her experiences growing up and working in Hollywood. The other guest speaker was Grant Curtis, one of the producers of Spider-Man 2 and the executive producer for Spider-Man 3. He was very down to earth and had a lot of good things to say about actors and the profession of acting.
Overall it was fun to be able to sit with all my classmates and friends knowing that we had accomplished a lot over the last two years and now we had the tools to be able to create great art on stage, TV and film.
