H passed me this article on Anna May Wong, the first Chinese-American Hollywood star. Before now, I never heard of her. Her story is interesting and inspirational.

what do you think of the starring role debut of the asian actor john cho in harold and kumar go to whitecastle? a breather from the usual strongly accented leading asian men whom usually has some bankable martial art skill to contribute.
Well honestly, I haven’t seen Harold and Kumar so I can’t really comment. But what I can say is that I am glad that asian males are getting more visilibty and opportunities in TV and film.
