Last week started with my birthday which was spent packing for our trip to the east coast for my brother’s wedding. We arrived Monday night and stayed with friends in MD. Tues we visited the Visionary Art Museum which was an amazing inspiration. That night we had crabs and beer at the harbor on a very hot and humid night. The next day we drove to VA to visit more friends and Thurs morning I headed back to DC for my brother’s “guy’s night out” (bachelor party) which started with a game of basketball in 110 degree heat, then dinner at Fogo de Chao near the White House. The rest of the night was spent hanging out with the guys drinking beers and playing Xbox video games till 4am. The next morning I drove back to VA to get H and then back down to VA to the hotel near the wedding location. Fri was the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner which my parents could not attend because their flight was canceled in HK because of typhoons. Luckily they were able to catch a flight later and arrived at the hotel at 1am without their luggage which was suppose to arrive later. My immediate family then stayed up till 4am putting together wedding party favors for the reception. Sat the heat wave broke but we all baked under the sun during the ceremony at the ranch. That night we all ate, drank and danced the night away.
Big congrats to Jon and Mary!
