Heather and I went to the Pantages tonight to see Wicked the musical and I was completely blown away by the stunning production and performances. I can’t even remember the last time I’ve seen such talented actors give so much of themselves on-stage. It was completely inspirational. The two female leads clearly owned their characters and were so relaxed and comfortable that it was a complete joy to watch. You could even see them really trying to affect one another on stage with their performance and they did. You could tell they were having a complete blast on-stage with their characters. Nothing seemed stale to them even though they were both the original leads in both the Broadway performances and on tour. It was just amazing to watch and I was completely jealous of them sitting there in my seat. It made me want to be a part of the show, to help create the magic they had on stage. All I could think is “THAT’S WHAT I WANT TO DO!” I want to have that kind of connection with an audience, to let go and throw down on stage and give an amazing performance.
Did I mention how amazing the two lead actresses were and how impressed I was of their acting and their singing abilities?
I’ve never seen such an amazing production in my entire life.

It’s been more than a month since the XFlowsion program ended and the good news is that Heather and I have continued to get leaner. I am now at 163lbs and 14.5% bodyfat.

That’s close to 20lbs I’ve lost by doing yoga, budokan, eating lots of veggies, staying away from sugar, white carbs, cheese, and only having one cheat day a month. The only bad thing is that we tend to eat a lot of burritos from Poquito Mas (Vegetarian burrito with guacamole, salsa, no cheese and added steak - absolute favorite!). Granted, Poquito Mas uses all fresh ingredients, but the white tortilla is suppose to be on the “forbidden” list. Guess it doesn’t matter since we’re losing weight at a steady pace. I find it amazing that I’ve lost 20lbs and I’m still not ripped. I haven’t been this light in a very long time but I’m determined to get down to 10% bodyfat.

Sometimes you have to shake things up and try something different. That’s what’s happening on this site right now. A complete overhaul from the ground up starting with my hosting provider. I’ve happily moved to Dreamhost from Aplus.net. I’ve hosted many sites over at Aplus and they have proven to be difficult to work with over the years because of their strict security restrictions. Also, their data center was infected with a Windows virus last weekend and two of the production servers that run the mobile application that I helped develop and deploy was knocked out of commission without any notification. So bye, bye Aplus. I’m loving Dreamhost already with their awesome packaged hosting plans and easy to use control panel.
So this site is under major reconstruction for the next few days. Please ignore the current mess.
