I’ve never been interested in a Blackberry smartphone until now. The Blackberry 8800 is still all business and lacks a camera, but is now thin and sexy and includes GPS, voice-dialing, and multimedia capabilities along with the standard email, sms, and instant messaging features that made the Blackberry a corporate workhorse.
The not-yet-released Blackberry 8300 is the silver version of the 8800 and is geared more towards non-business users. The 8300 lacks GPS, but does include a 2megapixel camera along with all the other features.
Supposedly there will also be an upcoming Blackberry 8320 which will combine the features of the 8800 and the 8300 AND include WIFI support.
If it wasn’t for the impending release of the iPhone, I’d pick up a Blackberry tomorrow. But it’s good to know I have options.
